Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Eat Tastee, we strive to deliver exceptional service and high-quality products while maintaining food safety and fairness in every transaction. This policy outlines how refunds, replacements, and cancellations are handled for all prepared foods, catering services, and kitchen-essential merchandise in compliance with Maryland Safe Serve and local Anne Arundel County health guidelines.
Prepared Food Orders
All meal-prep and ready-to-eat food sales are final once prepared or delivered, as these products are perishable and made to order. If your order arrives incorrect, incomplete, or shows signs of a food-safety concern, please notify us within two hours of delivery or pickup. Claims submitted within this window will be reviewed, and when validated, we will offer a replacement meal or refund at our discretion. Refunds are processed to the original method of payment.
Kitchen Essentials Merchandise
Kitchen essentials—including cookware, utensils, storage products, and accessories—may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase if the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was defective or an incorrect item was sent. Under Maryland COMAR 02.01.05, all refund and return policies are clearly displayed at the point of sale and on our website.
Catering Services
To secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit is required at booking. If an event is canceled more than 30 days in advance, any remaining balance (excluding the deposit and pre-purchased materials) will be refunded. Cancellations made 15–30 days before the event will receive a 50 percent refund of the remaining balance. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable, as food orders, staff scheduling, and vendor commitments will have been confirmed. In the rare instance we cannot perform services due to reasons within our control, a full refund will be issued.
